Unity Blend (Medium Roast)

House Breakfast Blend. Smooth blend of coffee from South America.

This blend is named after the "Join or Die" Cartoon that was attributed to Benjamin Franklin and published in the Pennsylvania Gazette in 1754. Although this was published prior to the Revolution, Franklin's goal was to unite the colonists and convince the British government to support a unified colonial government in America. A number of years later during the Revolution the image re-appeared and became a well-known symbol for freedom and unity against British rule.
